Sign up in-store when you purchase a new SaskTel phone.


If you purchased your SaskTel phone online or within the last 12 months and wish to sign-up, visit a SaskTel Authorized Dealer, SaskTel Store, or call
1-800-SASKTEL (phone enrollment must be within 30 days of the purchase date).


If you don't sign up at the time of purchase, you must present your original receipt.


The Wireless Device Protection Plan, administered by eSecuritel, is designed to give you peace of mind. By signing up, you can save time, money, and hassle should your wireless device be lost, stolen, accidently damaged, or malfunctioning.

It's fast and easy to get your replacement device. Just submit a claim to eSecuritel and, once approved, your brand new wireless device will be immediately available for pick up from a SaskTel Store or SaskTel Authorized Dealer.

Product Details

The Wireless Device Protection Plan covers your SaskTel wireless device from:

  • accidental damage,
  • loss,
  • theft, and
  • malfunction (after the manufacturer's warranty expires).

Normal wear and tear and cosmetic damage are not covered.

To be eligible for coverage immediately, purchase the Wireless Device Protection Plan at the same time you activate your new wireless device from SaskTel. If you select coverage at a later date (must be within 12 months of original purchase), no claims may be made under the plan for 30 days following the purchase.

The Wireless Device Protection Plan covers two approved claims within any consecutive 12 month period.

The following types of SaskTel-authorized wireless devices are eligible for the plan: cell phones, Smartphones, and Mobile Internet devices. In-box accessories (battery and standard wall charger) are covered; all other accessories are ineligible. Devices on prepaid service or the Cellular Safety Plan are not eligible for coverage.

For $6 or $7 a month, you're protected against loss, theft, and damage. This monthly fee will be added to your SaskTel wireless bill.

For each approved claim, you simply pay a deductible* ranging from $75 to $225, depending on the type of wireless device (visit sasktel.esecuritel.com for your deductible amount).

*Customers must have a valid credit card to make the deductible payment to eSecuritel.

If you subscribe to the Wireless Device Protection Plan and your wireless device is accidentally damaged, lost, stolen, or malfunctioning (after the manufacturer's warranty expires), you can file a claim by calling eSecuritel at 1-877-412-5186 or by visiting sasktel.esecuritel.com.

Claims must be reported within 60 days of the incident and proof of loss and/or ownership must be provided if requested. Only the account holder may file a claim.

If your wireless device was lost or stolen, before you file your claim, please call SaskTel at 1-800-SASKTEL to suspend your service and protect yourself against unauthorized use of your account. If the wireless device was stolen, file a police report as the report number may be required to process your claim.

Once your claim is approved, you pay a deductible by credit card ranging from $75 to $225, depending on the wireless device (visit sasktel.esecuritel.com for your deductible amount). Once your deductible is paid to eSecuritel, you'll be directed to a SaskTel Store or SaskTel Authorized Dealer to pick up your replacement wireless device. You can pick up the device immediately or within 60 days of the date the claim was approved. Keep the receipt, original box, manual and all packaging materials for warranty purposes.
