Monthly access costs -Home Phone Service lines start at $21.54 per month (rate dependent on location). Excess mileage and extended area charges may also apply in certain areas.
Installation/moving costs - There is a one-time connection charge when establishing service ranging from $35.00 to $75.00 per line in most urban areas. The one-time connection charge is dependent upon development work previously done at the service address as well as geographic location. The connection charge rate for rural areas range from $35.00 to $475.00. SaskTel will provide additional information about rates and prices before establishing service at your particular location. Extra charges may apply depending upon your situation.
Disconnecting home phone service - All SaskTel services will be disconnected when you submit your request for permanent disconnect, unless you choose to keep your Calling Card, which will be subject to a monthly fee.
If you have any equipment that belongs to SaskTel. (I.e. High Speed modem or rental sets) it must be dropped off at a SaskTel Store or mailed free of charge through Priority Post at any postal outlet.

Keep the receipt for returning equipment in case you do not receive the credit. You have 10 working days to return the SaskTel equipment or a charge will be applied to your final bill. (e.g. High Speed Modem = $150.00)
With SaskTel Intercept Service, you can notify callers of your new telephone number. This is available for up to 15 months for only $3.00 per month.
If you have the SaskTel maintenance plan, Wire Watch, and disconnect it before the 24-month commitment is fulfilled, you will be charged $1.50 for each month remaining in your commitment.
