Customer Systems Analyst (Design)

Customer Systems Analysts (CSA) are responsible for providing technical and systems expertise to all SaskTel customers.  You will analyze customer’s business needs and provide innovative, scaleable and cost effective communication solutions. You will design, price and provision solutions that meet the customer’s current and future business needs.  A CSA provides information technology support, including voice, data, LAN, video and I/P cable networks, to the SaskTel sales teams, support groups, operations personnel and customers. You will also have responsibility for reEndecaUIing new and emerging services, technologies and communication industry trends.  These positions are located in both Regina and Saskatoon.

Requirements;
To become a Customer Systems Analyst (Design) you must hold a diploma in electronic or computer technologies as recognized by the Saskatchewan Applied Science and Technologists Technicians (SASTT).  You must also have working knowledge of applications and systems, processes & procedures, tools & test equipment which is typically gained with 3 years experience in a Tier I & Tier II delivery and troubleshooting role.  Current experience with IP networking and wireless data knowledge is required.  Certification in one or more of the following is needed:  Cisco Certified Design or Network Associate, Registered Communication Distribution Designer, Nortel Networks Certified Design Specialist or Expert, Certified in Convergent Network Technologies.  A valid driver’s licence is also required.
