Service Representative

Service Representatives are SaskTel's entry-level sales positions and are found in various departments within the Customers Services Division. These positions represent the corporation in all types of customer contacts including determining customer's needs and requirements, recommending solutions, selling products and services, collecting and adjusting customer accounts and handling public inquiries. The various types of Service Representative positions are listed below:

Outbound Service Representative
Service Representatives on our outbound team promote and sell SaskTel products and services  over the telephone to existing customers. Service Representatives determine customer needs and requirements, and recommend optimum service solutions to the customer. There is a strong selling focus to this outbound calling position.  Positions are located in Regina and Saskatoon.

Inbound Service Representative
Service Representatives on our inbound team manage incoming calls from SaskTel customers.  They are located in various departments including the residential and business areas.  These Service Representatives determine customer needs and requirements, initiate and prepare sales proposals and recommend optimum service solutions to customers who call in to SaskTel.  Positions are located in Regina and Saskatoon.

Front Line Service Representative
Front Line Service Representatives work in our SaskTel Stores and deal with customers in person.   These service representatives deal with customers for the purpose of retail sales, complete product returns and repairs, attend trade shows and perform equipment demonstrations.   Positions are located in various centres across Saskatchewan.

Requirements for all Service Representative positions:
SaskTel recruits individuals into Service Representative positions with proven sales experience, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and demonstrated analytical and decision-making abilities. Individuals must be able to work under continual pressure, while consistently handling all customers with tact, diplomacy and courtesy. Service representatives must also have the ability to resolve disputes..  There is a strong selling focus for all of these positions
