Jim Pitt |

As President of the SaskTel Expansion Division, Jim Pitt is responsible for SaskTel’s out-of-province sales strategies, its Global Account Management portfolio outside of Saskatchewan, and for SaskTel’s Carrier Relations department.
Jim has an extensive background in the telecommunications industry on a national basis. Prior to joining SaskTel, he held executive positions at GT Group Telecom from 1999 to 2005, with mandates of responsibility including Carrier Relations, Carrier Sales, Enterprise Sales, International Business Development and National Partner Programs. From 1995 to 1999, Jim was Vice President, General Manager at Shaw Communications, responsible for Shaw Paging and Shaw Mobilecomm. Previous to Shaw, he held various executive positions within the wireless industry going back to 1985, where he was involved with the launch of Cantel’s cellular service in Canada.
Jim attended McGill University’s Faculty of Education as well as McGill’s Management Institute, focusing on finance, transportation and distribution management.
Jim is married with two adult children.
