SaskTel employees support North Battleford area non-profits through TelCare

North Battleford & District TelCare donates $18,225 to 15 organizations

SaskTel employees in North Battleford and district continue to support non-profit organizations through the TelCare program. This year North Battleford & District TelCare will donate $18,225 to 15 organizations. The organizations are:

  • Alzheimer Society
  • Arthritis Society
  • Battlefords Humane Society
  • Battlefords United Way
  • Canadian Cancer Society
  • Diabetes Association
  • Heart & Stroke Foundation
  • Jack Kemp Community School
  • Kidney Foundation
  • KidsFirst North
  • Lloydminster & District United Way
  • Macklin & District Health Foundation
  • Multiple Sclerosis Society
  • Parkinson Society
  • Salvation Army Meadow Lake

SaskTel TelCare is a volunteer organization of SaskTel employees who contribute money through payroll deduction. SaskTel donates 50 cents for every dollar employees contribute through TelCare. Across the province the TelCare program will contribute approximately $350,000 to non-profit organizations in 2011.

SaskTel TelCare began in 1950. Each year TelCare members vote to determine which organizations will receive TelCare funds.
