SaskTel employees in Saskatoon continue to support non-profit organizations through the TelCare program. This year Saskatoon & District TelCare will donate $106,575 to 26 organizations. The organizations are:
SaskTel TelCare is a volunteer organization of SaskTel employees who contribute money through payroll deduction. SaskTel donates 50 cents for every dollar employees contribute through TelCare. Across the province the TelCare program will contribute approximately $350,000 to non-profit organizations in 2011.
“SaskTel employees have supported non-profit groups through payroll deduction for more than 60 years,” said Ron Styles, SaskTel President and CEO. “SaskTel is proud to support TelCare in its ongoing efforts to improve quality of life in Saskatchewan communities.”
SaskTel TelCare began in 1950. Each year TelCare members vote to determine which organizations will receive TelCare funds.
