Today SaskTel announced plans to expand infiNET™, Western Canada’s fastest fibre optics network, to Yorkton. Construction will begin in the spring of 2017 with infiNET expected to be available in some neighborhoods by early summer.

infiNET is being deployed through SaskTel’s Fibre to the Premises program, a $670 million investment to deploy fibre optics directly to homes and upgrade the broadband network in the nine largest urban centers in the province, Saskatoon, Regina, Moose Jaw, Weyburn, Estevan, Swift Current, Yorkton, North Battleford and Prince Albert.
