SaskTel monitoring and reporting for hosted services

Our Monitoring solution for Hosted Services collects, analyzes and summarizes data from your SaskTel servers. The solution polls servers, collecting Simple Network Management Protocol data every 15 minutes. The data from these polls is averaged to obtain hourly, daily, weekly and monthly statistics.

The data collected is summarized in five reports, accessed through a password protected, secure web interface portal. The web portal may be accessed using any Internet connection. The following outlines the types of monitoring available:

Incident and Problem Management	Summary reports on critical troubles
Hardware & Operating System Monitoring	Monitoring server connectivity
Hardware Availability Reporting	Monthly graphs outlining hardware availability
Capacity Monitoring	Monitoring CPU utilization, disk space, and memory capacity
Capacity Reporting	Monthly graphs outlining capacity levels
