Attachment Viewing
View attachments such as Word, Excel, HTML, JPG, PowerPoint, and Adobe PDF in colour. ZIP files are also supported.
Enhanced Integration with BlackBerry Applications
Email addresses, phone numbers and URL’s within attachments will be seamlessy integrated into address book and other BlackBerry applications to support immediate context-sensitive actions.
SMS Message Handling
Text messages within the Message list have a unique icon identifying them from email messages.
Quick Voicemail Access
Simply press and hold the “1” key to call your preset Voicemail number when:
- in the Phone Application, or
- fom the Home Screen when "Dial from Home Screen" is on.
Font Support
Select from a wide range of scalable vector fonts in varying styles and sizes for use throughout the BlackBerry applications from the Screen/Keyboard options screen.
You can also apply:
- Bold
- Italics
- Antialiasing , and
- Sub Pixel Rendering (gives a more gradual transition between the colour of a line and the background colour).
Secure Connections – SSL/TLS
The browser supports optional SSL/TLS security.
Email Functionality
The BlackBerry provides you with a wireless extension of up to 10 work and personal email accounts, including:
- Microsoft Outlook and Lotus Notes
- MSN, Hotmail, AOL, and
- POP3/Internet Service Provider (ISP) email accounts
