The contest

1. The SaskTel Text to Meet Rodney Atkins Contest (“the Contest”) will run from 12:00 am June 23rd, 2009 to July 08th, 2009 12:00 pm CST (“Contest Period”).
2. There are 2 ways to enter the Contest (please see “How to Enter” below).
3. No Mobile Device Necessary: Customers who wish to enter who do not have access to a mobile device can write an essay of 100 words or more on “Why I should win the Chance to Meet Rodney Atkins Contest”.  Customers can enter via mail-in entry containing their name, date of birth, contact information, and essay.  Only one entry per person using the mail-in entry is permitted. 
4. All contest entries must be received before the Contest Closing Date of July 08th, 2009 at 11:59 am CST. SaskTel accepts no responsibility and will not be liable for entries that are not received, incomplete, lost, late, misdirected or illegible for whatever reason, including without limitation, due to computer or cellular network or other system interruption, malfunction, or breakdown of any kind or duration. SaskTel reserves the right in its absolute discretion, without any liability to any contest entrant, to withdraw or modify the contest should any of SaskTel's systems or its network be adversely affected by any virus or other similar destructive agent during the Contest Period.
5. SaskTel will make a random draw from all eligible entries and announce the winner of the Contest on Wednesday, July 08th, 2009.
6. The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws.
7. SaskTel shall be the sole judge and decision maker regarding any dispute regarding the application or interpretation of the Contest Rules or any other aspect of the Contest and SaskTel's judgment or decision shall be final.

How to enter

Contest entrants can enter the Contest in one of the following ways:

• Text ‘Rodney’ to 43210 from your wireless device from June 23rd, 2009 to July 08th, 2009 and be automatically entered to win. Only one entry per wireless device.
• Mail-in entry.  All entries must be received on or before the Contest Closing Date.  Only 1 (one) mail in entry per person is permitted during the Contest Period.  To enter by this method, send your name, date of birth, essay, and contact information to:

Eligibility

Entrants must have their own means of admission to the Craven Country Jamboree.

The Contest is open to Saskatchewan residents only who are at least 13 years of age except:

• The Contest is not open to employees of SaskTel, its parent corporation or its affiliates and their immediate families (or persons with whom they are domiciled); or
• Any SaskTel dealers/dealer employees and their immediate families (or persons with whom they are domiciled)
• Any Warner Bros. Records or its affiliates’ employees and their immediate families (or persons with whom they are domiciled)

Prizes

A chance for two people to attend a meet and greet with country music recording artist Rodney Atkins at the Craven Country Jamboree on July 11th, 2009. 

Prize Terms

1. Only one prize will be awarded.
2. The prize must be accepted as awarded, is non-transferable and is not redeemable for cash. 
3. In order to claim the  prize, winning party must provide SaskTel with the following information:
   • Name
   • Phone Number
   • Age
4. SaskTel reserves the right to make a substitution for the prize in whole or in part in the event that the prize is unavailable.
5. Before being declared a winner, the selected entrant must correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question. Selected entrants will be contacted via their wireless or landline number, or the number provided on the mailed-in Contest entry form.  
6. To be eligible to win, a customer’s account must be in good standing * at the time of the draw.  *"In good standing" is defined as a customer whose account balance with SaskTel is not outstanding over 59 days, or suspended for non-payment.
7. If a selected entrant cannot be immediately reached the afternoon of the Contest draw date, incorrectly answers the skill-testing question, or declines the prize, he/she will be deemed to have forfeited his/her opportunity to win, and a new entrant will be chosen.
8. By entering the Contest the winner releases SaskTel and the prize provider and their agents from all liability resulting from the award and any use of the prize.
9. By entering the Contest, the winner agrees to the use of his or her name in the publication by SaskTel of the name of the Contest winner.  SaskTel will destroy all information provided by contest entrants upon completion of the Contest.
10. By entering the Contest you agree that you have read and are bound by the contest terms and conditions and have complied with them.
11. SaskTel will not use information provided by you to develop product or service promotions targeted directly at you as a result of your participation in the Contest but may develop further product or service promotions and marketing campaigns that are general in nature based on the total aggregate information provided to SaskTel by all participants in the Contest.
12. No communications will take place except with entrants selected in the Contest draw.
