When buying a cell phone or smartphone and subscribing to a service plan online, be prepared with the following information.
New or existing customer?
New: If you do not already have a SaskTel cell phone or wireless data device, you should begin the order process through the web page of the phone or device you wish to purchase (however, after you click Add to cart, you will have the option of choosing another phone).
Bring your number with you
If you are switching to SaskTel from another service provider, you may be able to keep your cell number, but you will need to visit a SaskTel Authorized Dealer to process your request (number transfers cannot be completed through the online order process at this time). See Wireless Number Portability for more information.Existing: If you already have a SaskTel cell phone or wireless data device (active on the SaskTel network), you may change your current service plan by choosing Add to cart on the web page of your selected plan. In this case, only the first two items in the table below (Service plan and Telephone number and date) will apply to your order.
Note: Throughout the online order process, your screen will refresh each time you enter something into a text field or select a radio button.
