Download terms and conditions
- You will be charged for the purchase of downloadable content and associated download fees on your SaskTel bill. The charges for downloadable content are aggregated each bill period and will appear as one charge on your bill with the description "Downloadables."
- In order to download content, you must have:
- a download capable and Internet-ready phone
- Text Messaging service (in order to receive passwords and web alerts).
- You must have your phone within Digital or 1xRTT/EVDOcoverage area to receive downloadable content.
- All terms and conditions and usage charges associated with your Text Messaging and Mobile Browser service apply when ordering and receiving downloadable content.
- Each phone has a limited capacity for the storage of downloadable content. If you purchase downloadable content when your phone's memory is full, the item will still be delivered to your phone, but you will have to delete other items in order to free enough storage space for the new item. - Downloadable content purchased through SaskTel must only be stored on your registered phone, and must not be forwarded, sublicensed, or disseminated in any way.
- Certain types of downloadable content are available only for certain phone models. When you register to download content (via the SaskTel web site or your phone), you are required to select a phone model so you will only see the content that is compatible with your phone; however, if you select the incorrect model of phone, you may download an item that is not compatible with your phone. You will be responsible for the charges associated with downloaded content even if the content is not compatible and cannot be used on your phone.
- While SaskTel strives to ensure that downloadable content is reproduced on your phone as it appears or sounds on the SaskTel web site, we do not guarantee that your phone will accurately reproduce the content.
- You will be billed upon confirmation of your purchase on both your handset and the website. Charges apply even if you have not downloaded the content to your phone.
- SaskTel is not responsible for the contents of any downloadable item.
- Unless otherwise stated, a download fee will be charged every time content is downloaded by download capable phones (the download fee also applies to external content).
- SaskTel is not responsible for lost content if phones are taken in for repairs, and will not credit the customer back for lost content or restore the lost content to the phone. Dealers should ensure that this limitation is explained to the customer before their phone is sent away for repair.
