You will be charged wireless long distance fees in the following instances:
- If you place a call from your local calling area to a phone outside your local calling area. For example, if you live in Regina, and make a call to Saskatoon, you will have to pay long distance.
- If you place a call from outside your local calling area to a phone in your local calling area. For example, if you live in Saskatoon and make a call home while in Calgary, you will have to pay long distance.
- If you place a call from outside your local calling area to a phone anywhere outside the area you are currently calling from. For example, if you live in Prince Albert, but are visiting Winnipeg, any calls to numbers outside of the Winnipeg area will be charged long distance. Calls made within Winnipeg will not be charged long distance.
- If you receive a call while you are outside your local calling area. For example, if you live in Moose Jaw, any calls you receive while traveling outside of Moose Jaw will be charged long distance.
The long distance rate of $0.25 / minute applies, following the rules above, when:
- Making calls from anywhere in Canada to anywhere in Canada or the U.S. (including Alaska and Hawaii).
- Receiving calls anywhere in Canada.
