LANspan service is a fully bridged service providing point to point or local multi-drop connectivity between customer premises in the same city. Local access speeds include copper/DSL based accesses with speeds of up to 640 Kbps upstream and up to 2 Mbps downstream, a copper based access of 5Mbps, both available in a number of centres in Saskatchewan.
Typically fibre optics based accesses with speeds of 10, 100 or 1000 Mbps, available in major centres in Saskatchewan, and 10 Gbps available in Regina and Saskatoon only.
Multi-drop provides layer 2 connectivity between 3 or more customer locations in the same city.
LANspan IP™ service is a highly reliable network service designed to meet all of your critical data, voice and video applications. It's a private transport network service with data speeds ranging from 384 Kbps to 1000 Mbps that allows the interconnection of local area networks (LANs) in two or more locations. Using a web portal, you can access reports on CPU usage, Traffic In/Out, and Status/Response time.
LANspan IP service is proactively monitored by the SaskTel Network Operations Centre on a 24/7 basis so issues are identified and resolved before you're aware of them. Maintenance is performed by a team of highly trained technicians located throughout the province,
Our Service Level Agreement outlines a stringent set of repair objectives for LANspan IP service. The repair intervals are strictly monitored to ensure that troubles, identified by either SaskTel management system or SaskTel customers, are resolved in a timely manner to ensure LANspan IP service will meet your business requirements.
LANspan IP service is available in over 250 locations across Saskatchewan with flat monthly rates based on speed and location.
