You're in a different town and you need a taxi. If you're a SaskTel customer just dial #TAXI (#8294) and you'll be immediately connected to the local cab company of your choice or the first available taxi cab company in the area.

How it works

1. Call #Taxi (#8294) and the service will locate you using voice recognition or via your AGPS (Assisted Global Positioning) enabled phone.
2. You'll be connected to an interactive voice response system.
3. Select the language of choice by saying 'English' or 'Francais'.
4. Say the name of the city you are in or have the service automatically locate you* using AGPS. You can also say the name of the taxi company of your choice.
5. You're immediately connected to the first available taxi company or to the company of your choice.
6. You will be sent a free Text message from #TAXI confirming that a Taxi has been dispatched.

*The #TAXI service can only locate you via your phone if you have Mobility Call Display - Outgoing enabled.
