This corded phone is fully hearing aid compatible. It features a receiving volume of up to 30dB making it easy to hear and adjustable tone control means you can adjust the pitch of the receiving sound to customize it to your hearing loss. Directory Assistance

Directory Assistance inquiries are allowed at no charge (limited number) for registered special needs customers. Learn more about using Directory Assistance. This product may qualify for a subsidy.


Speed Call

Speed Call lets you reach the local or long distance numbers you call most often by dialing just one digit. Choose from Speed Call 8 or 30. This product may qualify for a subsidy.


Wireless

Voice dialing

Say the name of the person you want to call rather than dial their number. Refer to your smartphone or tablet's app store to download a voice dialing app.


Wireless Accessibility Credit

Customers with a vision impairment are eligible for a $15/month Wireless Accessibility Credit.  This credit can be applied to all postpaid voice and data plans (voice-only, data-only, and prepaid plans are not eligible).  You will be required to fill out an Accessibility Self-declaration form (PDF)  or Accessibility Self-declaration form (Word) to receive the credit.  Instructions for filling out the form are included in the file.

maxTV

AMI-audio

AMI-audio is offered to all maxTV subscribers on channel 555. AMI-audio is an audio-only broadcast reading service that offers up-to-date national and international news, sports, business and entertainment. For more information, visit ami.ca.


AMI-TV

AMI-TV is offered to all maxTV subscribers on channel 554. AMI-TV is a national English language descriptive-video and closed captioning channel for people who are blind, low vision, deaf or hard of hearing. For more information, visit ami.ca.


Described Video (DV)

Described Video is a narrated description of a program's main visual elements, such as settings, costumes, or body language. It can be turned on or off by pressing Menu on the remote control and going into Settings. Learn more about using Described Video (DV).


maxTV 30-day trial

Customers who have a visual or hearing impairment can get a maxTV 30-day trial. During this trial, customers can cancel their maxTV service if it does not suit their accessibility needs and receive a full refund. To qualify, you must self-declare by calling 1.800.SASKTEL (1.800.727.5835).
