As Saskatchewan  continues to flourish we are looking to the future. That future is the youth of our province and  thanks to SaskTel students in Saskatchewan will also be looking toward their  futures with educational programming from Junior Achievement.  The $10,000 sponsorship from SaskTel will  ensure that more than 1000 elementary school students in Saskatchewan will be  presented the “Technology &  Innovation” program through Junior Achievement.   This program encourages students to define  new ideas for business and society by learning about our technological past and  present.  Technology &  Innovation helps students discover the value and necessity of change in  economic and social progress.

Technology & Innovation engages elementary school students in activities to define new ideas  for business and society by learning about our technological past and present.  Volunteers lead an exploration of our major business sectors and the  contributions of Canadian inventors. Junior Achievement of Saskatchewan, a  not-for-profit organization funded primarily by corporations and foundations, provides  innovative programs and learning opportunities that stimulate and inspire  elementary, middle and high school students to value free enterprise,  understand business and economics, and develop entrepreneurial and leadership  skills.  Last year, programs and events  reached over 20,000 Saskatchewan youth.
