The City of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan Place Association and SaskTel, Saskatchewan’s leading communications provider, today announced the expansion of their long-standing partnership to include the naming rights for Saskatoon’s Premier Sports, Trade and Entertainment facility (currently Credit Union Centre). Effective October 1, 2014, SaskTel has obtained the naming rights for the venue for 10 years for $350,000 per year and the venue will become known as SaskTel Centre.

"We have had a positive relationship with Saskatchewan’s credit unions and thank them for their support over the past ten years,” said Ian Sutherland, Saskatchewan Place Association Board Chairman. “We are excited about our new partnership with SaskTel and look forward to working with them to develop and implement new services designed to enhance our customer's experience."

“SaskTel has been a proud sponsor of the venue for more than 15 years and this partnership will provide the platform for SaskTel to showcase its leading edge service and technology capabilities within the venue,” said Ron Styles, SaskTel President and CEO. “This is another example of our commitment to being actively involved in the communities in which our employees and customers work and live.”

“On behalf of Saskatchewan Place Association, I am  honoured that SaskTel has chosen to become our naming rights partner,” said Will Lofdahl, Saskatchewan Place Association Chief Executive Officer. “We look forward to a continued mutually  fulfilling association with SaskTel.”
