Solutions Manager - Business Sales & Solutions at SaskTel
For my education, I attended SIAST in Moose Jaw and received a diploma in Computer Information Systems. My co-op work term was completed at SaskTel and a few months after I graduated in 2004, I was offered a permanent position. I have been at SaskTel for 13 years now.
I’ve spent my career at SaskTel working with PBXs and customer networks. I started as a Tier 2 support technician for Nortel, Mitel and Cisco PBX’s. A few years later, I moved to an I&M specialist role, primarily focused on the installation of Cisco Voice systems on customer premises. Later, I moved to a Tier 3 Senior Support role, supporting our customers Cisco Voice deployments. In 2013 I took on an Operations Manager role in the Partnership Development Group, where I was part of a small team developing and launching Cisco’s Hosted Collaboration Solution (HCS).
I am presently a Solutions Manager in Business Sales & Solutions where I manage the Cisco Support and Managed IT Services (MITS) Network teams. My group manages the HCS and MITS Network services, and provides support for customer owned “on premise” Cisco solutions.
I really enjoy working at SaskTel, and I consider myself very fortunate to have been given so many opportunities to learn and try new things during my time here. SaskTel is a large company, with so many different areas of expertise. There are so many opportunities to move around and learn so many different things that there is no excuse to be bored. We also have a very strong and positive culture at SaskTel. There is a strong focus on both customer and community service. This makes SaskTel a great place to work.
I am hoping to have a long and fulfilling career at SaskTel!
