SaskTel launches High Speed Internet in Crystal Lake and York Lake

January 25, 2017

Today SaskTel announced that they have launched High Speed Internet in the resort communities of Crystal Lake and York Lake.  Residents of these communities can now enjoy the benefits of fast and reliable High Speed Internet with download speeds of up to 10 Mbps.

“SaskTel is pleased to bring High Speed Internet to the residents of Crystal Lake and York Lake,” said Ron Styles, SaskTel President and CEO. “As the leading Saskatchewan-based communications provider, we take great pride in connecting all corners of the province to our world class Internet and Cellular networks so that our customers and neighbours may take advantage of the social and economic opportunities these types of services open to them.”

This expansion is part of SaskTel’s commitment to invest over $300 million in capital in Saskatchewan in 2016/17 and $1.4 billion through 2016-2021.  Investments like these will ensure that Saskatchewan will continue to receive some of the best communication and entertainment services in the world.

High Speed Basic and High Speed Advanced are both available in these communities.  High Speed Basic offers download speeds of up to 5 Mbps while High Speed Advanced offers download speeds of up to 10 Mbps.  Both options include unlimited usage, free installation, in-home Wi-Fi, spam and email virus filtering, and 24/7 helpdesk support – all for one low monthly price.

For a limited time, new SaskTel High Speed Internet customers can sign up for as low as $9.95/month for their first 3 months.  For more information or to sign up, customers can visit any SaskTel Authorized Dealer or SaskTel Store, visit our web site at or call 1.800.SASKTEL (727.5835).
