September 26, 2019

SaskTel today announced that it has launched interNET Extended 50 in the Town of Big River along with 18 other rural Saskatchewan communities. Offering download speeds up to 50 Mbps, interNET Extended 50 is the fastest rural internet service SaskTel has ever offered – full list of communities below.

“These upgrades will greatly benefit the people in these communities and are a direct result of SaskTel’s strong financial investments in their networks and services throughout the province,” said Don Morgan, Minister Responsible for SaskTel.

With the introduction of interNET Extended 50, residents and businesses in all of these communities have a variety of SaskTel interNET Extended packages to choose from with download speeds ranging from 5-50 Mbps.

“When it comes to their internet connection, we know that speed is a top priority and with interNET Extended 50 our customers in rural Saskatchewan can download, stream, and share the digital content they want to faster than ever before,” said Doug Burnett, SaskTel President and CEO.

All SaskTel interNET Extended packages also come with unlimited usage, in-home Wi-Fi, and 24/7 helpdesk support.
