Today SaskTel announced the launch of a small cell site in McTaggart which will improve LTE cellular services in McTaggart and the surrounding area. The new cell site is part of Phase 2 of the Government of Saskatchewan’s multi-phase initiative to provide rural communities with enhanced access to reliable cellular and high speed internet services.

“Our government understands the importance of having access to reliable communications services in rural communities and continues to work with SaskTel to find innovative solutions,” Dustin Duncan, Environment Minister and MLA for Weyburn-Big Muddy said. “With today’s launch of the small cellular site in McTaggart, residents will experience improved connectivity.”
