SaskTel continues to improve High Speed Internet access and speed in rural SK

Today SaskTel  announced that 8 new rural communities will be  able to enjoy the benefits of SaskTel High Speed Internet service by mid 2016. SaskTel will be deploying High Speed Basic Internet,  which offers download speeds of up to 5 Mbps (megabits per second), in Craven,  Good Spirit Lake, and Madge Lake.  In  addition, SaskTel will be deploying High Speed Basic and Advanced Internet  service, which provides download speeds of up to 10 Mbps (megabits per second),  in Riverhurst, Frobisher, St. Benedict, Minton, and Alvena.
 

SaskTel also announced that the following 19 communities will have  access to even faster High Speed Internet service by the end of 2016 with the  launch of High Speed Advanced, offering download speeds of up to 10 Mbps: Davidson,  Waldheim, Ogema, Frontier, Loon Lake, Debden, Codette, Rhein, Weldon, Rapid  View, Shaunavon, Hudson Bay, Grenfell, Fort Qu’Appelle, Regina Beach, Buena  Vista, Kenosee Lake, Macklin, and Unity.

The expansion that will result in enhanced ability for both private customers using  the Internet for home entertainment and business customers doing work on a provincial, national and international scale.
