IPv6

The Internet needs room to grow, and IPv6 provides that space by offering a vastly larger pool of IP addresses.

There are currently 4 billion unique IP addresses around the world, already making up 95% of addresses that can be assigned. With the current IPv4 system nearly exhausted, IPv6 was introduced to support the constantly increasing number of devices connecting to the Internet.

Prepare Your Business

Here’s how you can prepare to transition to IPv6 when the time comes:

  • Educate your staff on IPv6.
  • Assess the impacts of IPv6 adoption on your business.
  • Identify which devices and websites need to be updated or replaced.
  • Ask your vendors, partners, and providers for IPv6 support of products and services.
  • Prepare your own IPv6 timeline for your business.

We're Prepared

Currently, Dedicated Internet and IP-VPN customers can now convert to IPv6, with our support using Dual Stack and NAT technology.

  • Dual Stack implementation allows IPv6 and IPv4 to run on the same network.
  • NAT64 allows IPv6 devices to be translated to connect with IPv4 content.
  • NAT44 enables multiple subscribers to share a single IPv4 address, optimizing the use of limited IPv4 resources.
