Apple Device Enrollment provides a fast, streamlined way to deploy your corporate-owned Apple devices.
You can easily enroll devices with our Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) solution, which means deployment is no longer a manual configuration process for IT and everything is set up automatically right out of the box.
Zero-touch configuration for IT
Seamlessly deploy Apple iPhone or iPad devices on a large scale and immediately configure account settings and apps over the air. IT does not need to physically access each device to complete setup.
Users with preconfigured devices are guided through the activation process with the built-in Setup Assistant. You can streamline setup even further by specifying certain screens asking for Apple ID, passcodes, and terms of service can be skipped.
Wireless supervision allows for additional device-specific and feature-specific restrictions, such as turning off iMessage, AirDrop, or Game Center, and additional configurations, such as web content filtering.
Integration with EMM
All iOS devices will be automatically enrolled in EMM, ensuring your devices are configured to your organization's IT requirements and that all users receive those configurations on their devices.
1. Enroll your business
To begin device enrollment, create an account for your business.
You will need to provide your business address information, a valid D-U-N-S number (not required for education institutions), and set up a dedicated Apple ID. You will also need the device enrollment Reseller ID to complete the registration process. Contact your SaskTel Representative for more information.
2. Set up administrators
Once you have your device enrollment Customer ID, you can create administrative accounts for individuals in your organization who are authorized to manage device assignments. You can create administrators for the entire company or by department.
3. Device enrollment
Provide your device enrollment Customer ID to your SaskTel Representative. They will enroll your devices purchased into your device enrollment account and let you know when you are ready to begin assigning devices.
4. Configure your servers
From the device enrollment website, add your EMM server(s). You can add servers at any time.
5. Assign devices
Once your Apple devices have been successfully enrolled, you can assign them to an EMM server by serial number or order number. As the user completes the Setup Assistant, the device will be automatically enrolled in EMM and configured with the proper settings.
A one-time service fee of $20.00 per device is billed by SaskTel and is applicable on new activations, renewals, and existing SaskTel devices. For more information, contact your SaskTel Representative.
Apple Device Enrollment is available for new and existing Apple products purchased from SaskTel that are running iOS 7 or greater or Mac OS X 10.9 or greater.
