  • SaskTel Pioneers (Chapter 59) received 17 awards at the TelecomPioneers 84th Annual General Meeting and Centennial Celebration held 02 - 05 Nov 2011 in Boston, Massachusetts.
  • IDnoodle, a department of SaskTel, received third place in the GENFuzion Developer Challenge Award for their development of myCentrex. The award was presented by GENBAND, a SaskTel vendor and global leader of IP infrastructure and application solutions. It recognizes top app developers from around the world.
  • The Actuate Corporation recognized SaskTel with a (Business Intelligence and Reporting Tools) BIRT Excellence Award in the Performance Management category.
  • SaskTel was recognized as one of Canada's Top 100 Employers by Mediacorp Canada Inc. SaskTel has had the distinction of being a part of this prestigious group of employers since the awards were introduced, and is the only Saskatchewan-based company to make the list twelve times.
  • SaskTel has been named one of Canada's Best Diversity Employers for 2011 by Mediacorp Canada Inc. The selection recognizes employers who demonstrate exceptional diversity and inclusiveness programs.
  • SaskTel was ranked the highest in overall customer satisfaction in the West region in the 2011 Canadian Wireless Customer Satisfaction Study conducted by J.D. 2010

  • SaskTel received an Award of Excellence for its 2009 annual report as part of the Chartered Accountants of Canada's Corporate Reporting Awards. The Chartered Accountants of Canada Corporate Reporting Awards (CRA) is the only national awards program that recognizes excellence and best practices in corporate reporting.
  • For the eleventh straight year, SaskTel is named one of Canada's Top 100 Employers for 2011 by Mediacorp Canada Inc.
  • SaskTel has achieved Cisco Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) Excellence distinction, the highest distinction a Cisco partner can achieve. Companies who receive this award are considered in the top 20% in Customer Satisfaction scores globally.
  • The Saskatoon and District TelCare Chapter was presented with an Award of Merit from the Saskatchewan Lung Association at their Annual General Meeting and Awards Luncheon.
  • SaskTel was named Cisco's Western Canadian Partner of the Year. This prestigious award recognizes SaskTel's performance and achievements as a Cisco channel partner in Canada in 2009.
  • SaskTel named one of Canada's Greenest Employers for 2010 by MediaCorp Canada Inc.
  • SaskTel Pioneers (Chapter 59) received 20 awards at the TelecomPioneers 83nd Annual General Meeting on 26 -27 Feb 2010 in Atlanta, Georgia.
  • The SaskTel We See You program was awarded the 2010 Global Best award for Education in Meeting Global Challenges by the International Partnership Network (IPN). SaskTel was selected as the winner in our region, representing North America, South America and Central America. Supported by The Conference Board of Canada, the IPN is a non-profit organization made up of a collection of local and International organizations, education and community organizations and Non-Government Organizations.

  • SaskTel was recognized as on of Saskatchewan's Top 100 companies by Saskatchewan Business Magazine. SaskTel was ranked 10th.
  • SaskTel named one of Canada's Greenest Employers for 2009 by MediaCorp Canada Inc.
  • SaskTel Pioneers (Chapter 59) received 20 awards at the TelecomPioneers International Conference in New Orleans, Louisiana.
  • In the "Canada Extra" section of the January 2010 edition of Consumer Reports Canada, SaskTel is given high scores by readers in these categories: voice, data messaging, customer support - staff knowledge, and customer support - issue resolved.
  • SaskTel was presented with three Showcase Awards at the 2009 Saskatchewan Motion Picture Industry Association (SMPIA) Awards Gala. Two awards recognized commercials featuring SaskTel's popular animated characters, and another recognized the SaskTel Max™ Local on Demand community program.

2008

  • Cisco Systems named SaskTel Top Secure Wireless Partner for Canada (2007). This acknowledgment was mainly a result of the successful implementation of the Saskatchewan! Connected project, which created Canada's largest outdoor wireless network.
  • SaskTel named one of Canada's Top 100 Employers by Mediacorp. Canada Inc. for ninth straight year. SaskTel also recognized as one of Saskatchewan's Top 15 Employers.
  • The Canadian Race Relations Foundation (CRRF) awarded SaskTel with an Award of Distinction for its Representative Workforce Strategy and Aboriginal Participation Initiative. The CRRF Award of Excellence program recognizes organizations and the programs they establish to combat racism and racial discrimination whether in the workplace, the community or in an academic setting.
  • Canada's Telecommunications Hall of Fame will honour SaskTel in October with the 2008 Special Recognition Award for SaskTel's contribution to the advancement of telecommunications in Canada.
  • SaskTel received a Work and Family Balance award in the large workplace category for its commitment to providing employees with opportunities to balance work and family life. The Work and Family Balance Awards, which are given every two years, were given to 11 recipients representing public, private, non-profit and co-operative sectors across Saskatchewan.
  • SaskTel Pioneers (Chapter 59), received 11 awards at the TelecomPioneers International Conference in Austin, Texas including seven national awards and four international awards.

2007

  • SaskTel named one of Canada's Top 100 Employers by Mediacorp. Canada Inc. SaskTel also recognized as one of Saskatchewan's Top 15 Employers.
  • SaskTel was recognized for an American Society for Training and Development BEST Award. The Awards recognize organizations that demonstrate enterprise-wide success or achievement as a result of employee learning.
  • SaskTel receives "Champion of Children" Award in recognition of SaskTel's YOUTHnetwork efforts with the Saskatoon Preschool Foundation.
  • TTCL (under SaskTel International) recognized for having the best pavilion at the Dar Es Salaam International Trade Fair, a major international promotional event organized by the Tanzania Board of External Trade.
  • SaskTel International awarded a three-year management contract to manage all aspects of the operations, maintenance and expansion of Tanzania Telecommunications Company Limited (TTCL).
  • SaskTel HP Signature Certified Partner status renewed through the HP Service Provider Certification Program. The program establishes SaskTel as an industry-leading hosting service provider operating in accordance with HP's stringent standards.
  • SaskTel receives Cisco® Canada's Top Innovation Channel Partner Award for achieving the highest innovation ratings in 2006. SaskTel received the award at Cisco Partner Summit 2007, held 03-06 Apr 2007 in Las Vegas.
  • The TelecomPioneers international volunteer organization awarded the SaskTel Pioneers the Chapter of Excellence Award for overall volunteering excellence. In all, the SaskTel Pioneers won 15 awards at the TelecomPioneers 80th Annual General Meeting in Anaheim, California on 16 and 17 Feb 2007.
  • At the Saskatchewan Waste Reduction Council's 11th Annual "Waste Minimization Awards" ceremony, SaskTel wins award in the 'Partnerships' category for the 'Computers for Schools' program.
  • SaskTel is recognized as one of the top 50 Saskatchewan companies, ranking 9th.

2006

  • SaskTel ranks the highest in customer satisfaction with contracted wireless service for a second consecutive year in the J.D. Power and Associates 2006 Canadian Wireless Customer Satisfaction Study.
  • SaskTel received the 2006 AGEN (Aboriginal Government Employees Network) Industry Award for Aboriginal Participation. It is the latest recognition for the company's commitment to strengthening its relationships with Aboriginal communities by promoting business development, career opportunities and overall corporate commitment.
  • Saskatchewan Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services recognized SaskTel as an incredibly important community partner through the presentation of a Community Partner Award.
  • SaskTel won the Interprovincial Association for Native Employment (IANE) Ivan Ahenakew Award for outstanding contributions to the employment of Aboriginal peoples. This award is given to any business, company, government department or Aboriginal organization that has shown results in the areas of Recruitment and Training of Aboriginal personnel for employment and training for the current year.
  • Nymity, an Ontario-based privacy research firm, recognized SaskTel with a national award for its corporate commitment to privacy and confidentiality, and named SaskTel as one of the top 10 Canadian companies with a superior privacy policy.
  • SaskTel was selected as one of 30 Best Workplaces in Canada by the Great Places To Work Institute. SaskTel was featured in the 10 Apr 2006 Canadian Business Magazine article.
  • SaskTel was selected for the SEEDA (Saskatchewan Employment Equity and Diversity Association) EDDY award in the category of "Achievement in Disability workplace representation and inclusion- Crown and Government sector". SaskTel was awarded the EDDY for the work that we have done in the area of disability recruitment and development of the SEND Affinity Group. The award was awarded jointly to Janice Muir for her efforts as the former chair with the Committee for Recognizing Diversity.
  • At the Saskatchewan Waste Reduction Council's 10th Annual Waste Minimization Awards ceremony, SaskTel wins award for their Directory Recycling Program. The Corporate Leadership award was also presented to SaskTel for its Eco(logical) strategy.
  • At the annual international Telecom Pioneer meeting, the SaskTel Pioneers received well deserved recognition for their community efforts.

2005

  • The SaskTel Pioneers receive a large number of national and international awards at an international meeting of the Telecom Pioneers in San Antonio, Texas.
  • J. D. Power and Associates independent study of customer satisfaction rates for Canadian wireless industry names SaskTel first in Canada for customer service.
  • SaskTel receives the prestigious Nortel Partner Advantage CSAT award for 2005. The award recognizes SaskTel as having the highest Customer Satisfaction Survey score of all Nortel Canadian Elite Advantage Partners.
  • SaskTel received an Honourable Mention from Canadian Race Relations for the 2005 Award of Excellence. The Canadian Race Relations Foundation is dedicated to bringing about a more harmonious Canada, which acknowledges its racist past, recognizes the pervasiveness of racism today, and is committed to a future in which all Canadians are treated equitably and fairly.
  • SaskTel received an Honourable Mention from The Work and Family Unit of Saskatchewan Labour and the Balancing Work and Family Alliance. The inaugural Saskatchewan Work and Family Balance Award was launched in December 2005, it is the first of its kind in Canada. SaskTel named one of Canada's Top 100 Employers for sixth straight year.

2004

2001

  • Selected as the Conference Board of Canada's Top Employer of Youth in Saskatchewan for the second year in a row.
