Due to technical limitiations, this tool is currently not compatible with Apple iOS devices running iOS6 or lower. Please try one of these methods to view the interactive coverage map:
- Use a web browser from a personal computer (laptop or desktop; Windows or Mac).
- Use an iOS7, BlackBerry or Android device.
* Actual speeds and coverage may vary due to the device being used, network congestion, distance from the cell site, and local conditions. Coverage areas are approximate as of April 1, 2016.
* Intermittent coverage areas may cause your SaskTel wireless device to frequently switch between LTE and 4G or only stay connected to 4G. This is expected behavior as a result of hand-offs between cellular technologies.
About our network
Get better wireless on Saskatchewan's most connected networks.
4G LTE network
We own and operate Saskatchewan's favourite 4G LTE network. When you’re outside our 4G LTE coverage, you’ll automatically switch to our 4G wireless network.
Our 4G network covers 99% of Saskatchewan’s population. We understand the importance of providing enhanced communications services in rural areas and will continue 4G improvements throughout the province in 2015.

Connect with the best wireless coverage in Canada!
4G LTE network
You’ll connect with the largest Canada-wide 4G LTE coverage. And when you’re outside of 4G LTE coverage, your 4G LTE device automatically switches to the 4G network.
Our 4G network is part of a larger, nationwide network, giving you the best coverage in Canada. Use your 4G or 4G LTE phone all across Canada where we’ve partnered with 4G-compatible network providers.
Travelling in Canada
We have roaming agreements in most American wireless coverage areas, giving you access to a massive U.S. wireless network.
4G LTE network
SaskTel gives you access to AT&T's 4G LTE network when in LTE coverage across the U.S. Outside of LTE coverage, your 4G LTE device automatically switches to 4G coverage.
You’ll get 4G coverage on AT&T (plus other regional operators) when you’re in the U.S. Use your 4G device for voice calling, data, and texting.
Note: We recommend using AT&T when you roam in the U.S. as their network provides faster network connection times and data speeds. If your device doesn't automatically select AT&T, you can manually select them.
Travelling in the U.S.
When you travel to the U.S., you’ll receive a text message letting you know you’re roaming on a U.S. network. The text also gives you the standard roaming rates for voice, text and data usage. See Roaming notification text message for details.
Take your phone with you when you’re travelling around the world!
4G LTE network
SaskTel gives you access to 4G LTE coverage across Canada. When travelling internationally, your 4G LTE device automatically switches to 4G, giving you wireless coverage in over 200 countries and territories.
Take your SaskTel voice and data service with you to over 200 countries and territories.
To find out which services are available (voice, text, data) in your travel destination, use the International Roaming Search Tool.
GSM - Not all countries have upgraded their GSM networks to 4G. The International Roaming Search Tool will display the Network Type in these countries as “GSM”. 4G and 4G LTE devices are backwards compatible with GSM networks.
When you enter a new country, you’ll receive a text that gives you the standard roaming rates for voice, text and data usage for the country you’re in. See Roaming notification text message for details.
