Call Waiting Business

On the phone and concerned about missing a call? With Call Waiting, a beep lets you know when someone else is trying to get through. You will also hear a distinctive beeping tone when the incoming call is a long distance call. This way, important phone calls, will not be missed. You can put the first caller on hold, while you answer the second call.

Call Waiting can also be deactivated on a per call basis if you like, by dialing *49. You'll hear a confirmation that this functionality has been deactivated. Once your call is complete, Call Waiting automatically turns back on - you don't have to remember to do it.
