U.S. Travel

Any time you travel to the U.S., you'll automatically receive Roam & Relax U.S. Daily rates. You will only be charged U.S. Daily rates if you use voice and/or data. With Roam & Relax, SaskTel customers can use data, make calls, and have unlimited text and picture messaging to anywhere in the U.S. and Canada.

Terms & conditions

Whenever you enter the U.S., we'll send you a roaming notification text message to let you know the retail roaming rates.

Data

  • For more information on Data speeds for Roam & Relax U.S. Daily, see the Wireless Fair Use Policy.
  • If you don’t make any calls, send any texts, or use any data, you won’t be charged for that day.
  • Your data bucket is available for 24 hours; if you use more than your allotted amount, you will be charged another daily fee for additional data, which you can use for a new 24-hour period.
  • Data used while roaming on Roam & Relax Daily is not taken out of the included data in each rate plan.
  • Daily voice rates include both airtime and long distance.
  • Text messages sent to a customer of an international wireless carrier will be charged an additional $0.20/message - Some exceptions apply.
  • U.S. Daily rates (Voice and Data) include Alaska, Hawaii, and Guam.

Voice

  • Roaming minutes will not be deducted from the free minutes included in your plan.
  • You may be charged extra for "premium" calls like vote lines, information, and directory assistance services.

Messaging

  • Incoming texts are free.
  • Regular rates apply to third party short codes like voting, horoscopes, and quizzes.
