Channel changes

Between October 31 and November 7, 2023, some channel changes were made on maxTV and maxTV Stream.

maxTV

ESPN Classic discontinued

On October 31, ESPN Classic (channel 125) was discontinued and is no longer be available. If you subscribed to ESPN Classic as a single channel, the $2.99/month charge was removed from your account on this date.

Sportsnet 360 moved to Standard channel lineup

On November 7, Sportsnet 360 (channels 120 / 420 HD) moved from the Sports theme pack to the maxTV Standard channel lineup, available to all maxTV subscribers (excluding Lite). If you subscribed to Sportsnet 360 as a single channel, the $7.99/month charge was removed from your account on this date.

Sportsnet 360 will also move to the Lite Sports theme pack for maxTV Lite customers.

Channels moved to Timeshift theme pack

The following channels were moved from the Standard channel lineup to the Timeshift theme pack on November 7:

• ABC Seattle, CBS Seattle, FOX Seattle, NBC Seattle, and PBS Seattle
• Citytv Toronto
• CTV Toronto and CTV Vancouver
• CBC Toronto and CBC Vancouver
• Global Toronto and Global Vancouver

maxTV Standard and maxTV Must Haves customers can add the Timeshift theme pack for $5/month.

The Timeshift theme pack is currently included in maxTV Fully Loaded and was added to the maxTV Next Level package on November 7.

maxTV Stream

ESPN Classic discontinued

On October 31, ESPN Classic (channel 125) was discontinued by the provider and is no longer be available. If you subscribed to ESPN Classic ($2.99/month) as a single channel, this charge was removed from your account on this date.

Sportsnet 360 and CTV Life Channel moved to Intro channel lineup

On November 7, Sportsnet 360 (channel 120) and CTV Life Channel (channel 63) moved from the Sports and Life 2 theme packs to the maxTV Stream Intro channel lineup, which is available to all maxTV Stream subscribers (excluding Lite). If you subscribed to Sportsnet 360 ($7.99/month) or CTV Life Channel ($3.99/month) as a single channel, this charge was removed from your account on this date.

For maxTV Stream Lite customers, Sportsnet 360 has moved to the Lite Sports theme pack and CTV Life Channel has moved to the Lite Variety theme pack.

Theme pack channel moves

Some of the channels in our theme packs moved on November 7:

• Discovery Channel (channel 51) moved from Variety to Life
• DTour (channel 135) moved from Life 3 to Variety
• Magnolia Network (channel 105) moved from Life 2 to Life 3
• OWN Canada (channel 109) moved from Life 3 to Life 2

If you subscribed to Discovery Channel ($5.99/month), DTour ($3.99/month), Magnolia Network ($2.99/month), and/or OWN Canada ($3.99/month) and the channel moved to a theme pack you also subscribe to, the single channel monthly charge(s) were removed from your account on this date.
