Directwest and Unifor ratify agreement

A new collective bargaining agreement (CBA) has been reached between Directwest and Unifor.

“We’re pleased to see Directwest employees ratify and benefit from an agreement reached at the bargaining table,” said Dustin Duncan, Minister responsible for SaskTel.

The new one-year CBA was ratified by Unifor and SaskTel’s Directwest employees on April 3, 2024, and is retroactive to March 19, 2023, with a general wage increase of 3% for the period ending March 17, 2024.

“We thank both parties for their willingness to reach an agreement, and we look forward to working together in the future,” said Shara McCormick, SaskTel Vice-President of Human Resources & Corporate Services.
