Text with 9-1-1 (T9-1-1) is a service available to deaf, deafened, hard of hearing, or speech impaired (DHHSI) customers that allows them to communicate to a 9-1-1 operator by text message.

To use T9-1-1 service, you must:

  • Register for T9-1-1
  • Have a wireless device capable of text messaging

How to register

Here's how to register:

  1. Print off the T9-1-1 user agreement. 
  2. Fill out your information, review the terms and conditions, and sign.
  3. Mail or email the completed document to the address listed on the agreement, or bring it to a SaskTel Store or Authorized Dealer.

If you don't have a printer, a SaskTel Store or Authorized Dealer can print it for you.
