SaskTel rolling out interNET 50 to more Saskatchewan communities

May 1, 2019

SaskTel today announced that it has expanded interNET 50 to twelve more communities, including: Canora, Esterhazy, Humboldt, Kamsack, Kindersley, Martensville, Meadow Lake, Melville, Nipawin, Rosetown, Tisdale, and Warman. Offering download speeds up to 50 Mbps and upload speeds up to 10 Mbps, interNET 50 delivers the fastest Digital Subscriber Line (DSL) services ever available in Saskatchewan!

“SaskTel’s innovative spirit and commitment to delivering advanced technological solutions are key reasons why they continue to be the leading communications provider in Saskatchewan,” said Don Morgan, Minister Responsible for SaskTel. “With this latest service upgrade, the people of these communities are better equipped than ever to tap into all the opportunities that exist online today.”

With the introduction of interNET 50, residents and businesses in all twelve communities have a variety of SaskTel interNET packages to choose from with download speeds ranging from 5-50 Mbps.

““We understand that our customers value speed over nearly everything else when it comes to their internet connection and with our new interNET 50 service, we can deliver faster DSL internet than ever before,” said Doug Burnett, SaskTel President and CEO.

All SaskTel interNET packages also come with unlimited usage, in-home Wi-Fi, and 24/7 helpdesk support.

These upgrades are part of SaskTel’s commitment to invest over $1.4 billion of capital in Saskatchewan through 2018-2023.
