“Our government understands the key role that the internet plays in the world today, especially in rural parts of our province,” said Don Morgan, Minister Responsible for SaskTel. “Thanks to SaskTel’s ongoing efforts, more of our rural residents and businesses are now equipped with a faster and stronger internet connection that will help them compete and succeed in the modern world.”

Delivering download speeds up to 25 and 50 Mbps, interNET Extended 25 and interNET Extended 50 are the fastest rural internet packages SaskTel has ever offered. With this latest expansion, SaskTel now offers internet packages with download speeds that range from 5-50 Mbps in all communities listed below.

“With the blazing speeds delivered by our interNET Extended 25 and 50 packages plus maxTV Stream’s cutting-edge features, residents in these communities are in-store for a major upgrade to their internet and entertainment options,” said Doug Burnett, SaskTel President and CEO.

maxTV Stream combines the best of traditional television with advanced technology and the latest over-the-top (OTT) content from Netflix and YouTube. Available in over 300 communities, maxTV Stream is setting a new standard for television and entertainment throughout Saskatchewan with innovative features, such as:
