smartHOME App
With a smartHOME Detect or Automate package, you'll get access to the smartHOME app so you can control and monitor your home from anywhere – with your phone, laptop, or tablet.
Features include:
- Turn power sockets on/off for those times you've left the iron on.
- Control your thermostat, no more paying for heat when you're not home.
- Monitor indoor/outdoor video so your cameras see who's on your doorstep and know everyone in your home is safe and sound.
- Receive alerts when a door/window is left unlocked. You can lock up remotely so there's no need to return home.
- Protect your home if smoke is detected, your system will sound the alarm, turn off the lights, and shut down your HVAC.

A fixed landline Internet source with Wi-Fi access is required for all packages.
Introductory promotion:
- Promotion available to new smartHOME customer installs. Not available to existing smartHOME customers.
- All new customers will get $10 off any smartHOME package for the first 12 months of their 48 month Customer Service Agreement (CSA)
- Equipment replacements, competitive conversions, and the upgrade program are not eligible.
- Promotion cannot be combined with any other promotional incentives.
¹Carbon monoxide and smoke detectors have a limited lifetime and must be replaced when they expire. The customer is responsible for the cost to replace the device unless a device is under warranty. Carbon monoxide detectors last approximately 5 years and smoke detectors last approximately 9 years. The exact expiration date is printed directly on the device.
