Voice dialing

Say the name of the person you want to call rather than dial their number. Refer to your smartphone or tablet's app store to download a voice dialing app.

Wireless Accessibility Credit

Customers with a vision, hearing, speech, mobility, or cognitive impairment are eligible for a $15/month Wireless Accessibility Credit. This credit can be applied to all postpaid voice and data plans (voice-only, data-only, and prepaid plans are not eligible). You will be required to fill out an Accessibility Self-declaration form (PDF) to receive the credit. Instructions for filling out the form are included in the file.

AMI-audio

AMI-TV is offered to all maxTV subscribers on channel 554. AMI-TV is a national English language descriptive-video and closed captioning channel for people who are blind, low vision, deaf or hard of hearing. For more information, visit ami.ca.

Described Video (DV)

Described Video is a narrated description of a program's main visual elements, such as settings, costumes, or body language. It can be turned on or off by pressing Menu on the remote control and going into Settings. Learn more about using Described Video (DV).
