Employer Award

January 25, 2022

Today, SaskTel is proud to announce that it has been recognized on the Forbes list of Canada’s Best Employers 2022. This prestigious award is presented by Forbes and Statista Inc., the world-leading statistics portal and industry ranking provider.

“It’s a privilege to work with the exceptional team at SaskTel, and an honour to be recognized by Forbes as one of Canada’s top employers for the fifth year in a row,” said Doug Burnett, SaskTel President and CEO. “We truly value our employees and recognize that they are vital to SaskTel’s overall success. Furthermore, this award is a testament of our commitment to teamwork, recognition and personal development.”

“We are pleased to hear our employees continue to consider SaskTel an excellent employer,” said Shara McCormick, SaskTel Vice President of Human Resources and Corporate Services. “We are dedicated to fostering a positive workplace culture and employee experience, and we believe that is fundamental to the general wellbeing of both current staff and future hires.”

Forbes and Statista selected the Canada’s Best Employers 2022 through an independent survey applied to a vast sample of more than 10,000 Canadian employees working for companies with more than 500 employees in Canada. The evaluation was based on direct and indirect recommendations from employees that were asked to rate their willingness to recommend their own employers to friends and family. Employee evaluations also included other employers in their respective industries that stood out either positively or negatively.
