SaskTel extends support for those affected by wildfires in Northern Saskatchewan until the end of June

Today, SaskTel announced that it will extend the supports its offering to all customers living in Northern communities evacuated due to the wildfires until the end of June.

"The Government of Saskatchewan is increasing the timeframe that SaskTel's supports will be available to those evacuated from their homes due to the wildfires in northern Saskatchewan,” said Jeremy Harrison, Minister Responsible for SaskTel. This measure, combined with the supplementary financial assistance announced by our government recently, will provide support to families during these evacuations and upon their return home.”

These supports include waiving all wireless data overage fees and crediting customers for their SaskTel Internet, maxTV Stream, and Home Phone services. These offers are in effect while communities are evacuated from May 31st until June 30th, 2025.
