Student Scholarships

Future Aspirations: I want to work in business management and eventually have my own business

Thoughts: I appreciated the scholarship as it helped pay for some of my residency and classes. I have not received any funding this year and have been totally reliant on my mother. It felt good to be able to help pay some of my debt.

Future Aspirations: Get my CPA, masters, and other designations required to become a forensic accountant

Thoughts: I’m very happy that I was able to receive this award—it allows me to put more money towards saving for a master’s program or the required studies to get a designation for my career, rather than towards my current tuition. In a sense, it made me feel less pressured for working a lot in the Fall 2025 term.

Future Aspirations: To work in management position in the healthcare field. Having firsthand experience working on the front line has given me insight into the needed changes to better support the employees as well as the whole patient experience.

Thoughts: I am very grateful. Each summer before the fall semester I stress about whether or not I can continue to afford University. In the spring and summer, I work full-time to pay for my tuition and rent. Scholarships have allowed me the opportunity to get good grades so I can pursue graduate studies after my under-grad. For this I am forever thankful to the Métis nation Saskatchewan and SaskTel for giving me this opportunity. Thank you

Thoughts: It relieved pressure from me, allowed me to focus on my studies

Future Aspirations: I currently work part time for the provincial government, and my goal is to bridge that into a permanent role once I'm done with school. I really like working there, so I want to stay long term and eventually work my way up into higher positions.

Thoughts: Being a scholarship recipient has been a huge help for me as an independent student. It really takes the pressure off when it comes to worrying about tuition and my everyday living costs. Having that extra financial support lets me focus way more on my classes instead of constantly stressing about how I’m going to pay for everything.
